Raptor Electrocution

Bird electrocution is a core concern for raptor conservation.

Electrocution is a threat to both resident and migratory raptor populations as raptors may perch on electric powerlines to gain a vantage point for hunting or for roosting at night.

Unsafe powerlines are the predominant cause of raptor electrocution. To combat this threat, IAF has put together a website to prevent birdelectrocution and improve electrical infrastructure.
